VOLUNTEER RESOURCES

Interested in volunteering with us?

We’d love to have you! Our volunteer group is a vital part of the center. Volunteering at the CMLC is a great way to get involved in the community, continue learning about the Oregon coast–this spectacular place we call home, enjoy special volunteer events, and more. A minimum of 6 hours per month is required. Volunteers must be 16 or older to volunteer on their own. We do have a paired youth volunteer program for 13-15 year olds, to volunteer as a team with a parent or other adult. Please have a look at the volunteer position descriptions provided below and fill out the brief survey. We will be in touch.

There are many ways to volunteer. Let us know what interests you. This is not a commitment, but gives us an idea of your interests. Check as many as apply. *

If you have an interest in marine life and enjoy interacting with the public, the CMLC is the place for you. A background in marine science is not required. Volunteers receive content trainings and become a part of our learning community. Additionally, active volunteers will have opportunities to get involved with special projects.
